Handling Divorce: How to Handle Divorce With a Single Woman
I wish that there was a magic answer to how to handle divorce, but that doesn’t exist. In reality, handling divorce is all a matter of will power, and a man needs to learn how to survive the end of a marriage.
The first step in handling divorce is not to allow your wife help to pull you apart. If you see any chance at a reconciliation, you should never let her even talk to you or make eye contact with you. You should be in complete control of the situation at all times and not allowing her into your life makes this process a lot easier.
The next step is to take control of the situation, by making sure that you are going to have all of the answers. This means that you are going to be calling the shots as far as the time of the divorce, what happens to your children, and what you do with your ex’s assets. If you can do this, you are going to have a better chance of getting the results that you want out of the divorce.
It is not acceptable for your wife to try to convince you to end the marriage, because she is not helping your cause at all. She is merely trying to make things easier for herself, and she will never make it happen if you are not willing to do so.
When your ex starts asking you to come home, then you are ready to take the fight to them. When you are willing to fight, then you can win the divorce. You need to be tough, and your wife may be able to convince you to cave in.
If your wife keeps calling or showing up at your house, and you have a drink every time she does, then you should stop drinking, and she should not be allowed to contact you. Her actions are clear, and she knows that you are trying to stop her from getting you out of the marriage. When you are ready to start to fight, ask your ex to come clean. Tell her that she needs to show you the true definition of love and honesty, and that you want to be with her as much as possible, but that you are afraid of losing her forever if you keep everything that you have now.
Tell your wife help is not being forthcoming enough when you want to end the marriage. Tell her that it is time for you to make the big decision to get out of the marriage, but that you want to see if there is a way that you can stay together. Ask her for forgiveness if she has done anything that hurt you, and if she has hurt you in some way.
When you tell your wife help is not being forthcoming enough, she may take a step back and realize that this is an opportunity for her to do something that is very important to her. If she does this, then she is showing her independence and confidence, and she can start to get over you.
The one thing that you are going to have to decide soon is how you are going to move forward after the divorce, and whether or not you want to go back to the old you. If you are willing to take the risk and let go of everything that you know you don’t need, then you may want to go through the same process again in the future. If you are going to hold on to things, then the end result is going to be more hurt, and the two of you will end up fighting just as hard as you did before the divorce.
It takes both parties to make a successful marriage and having a divorce will definitely change the dynamic of your marriage. However, if you are willing to stick with the fight, and take control of the situation, then you will have a good chance of winning your next divorce.
